The Urban Rugby Collaborative has been formed as a nationwide organization, focusing on youth rugby in urban areas, with an eye toward a global membership. Membership is free and involvement of your local rugby club is encouraged.

Play Rugby USA - California: Founding Executive Director Position RFP
We are seeking a self-starting social entrepreneur, with the charisma, drive, and passion for sports-based youth development, to lead and grow our California Chapter.
Our California Chapter was established in 2010 and has successfully piloted flag rugby youth development programs in 20 schools throughout LA. The Bay Area program is due to start later this year. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing funding, networks and programs partnerships across California to support both LA and Bay Area programs.
POSITION/S:
We will be hiring either one or two successful candidates as follows:
1) Full Time Executive Director, Play Rugby USA – California, or
2) Part Time Executive Director and Part Time Program Manager.
Proposed start date: September, 2011.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and performance based. Please note, as this is a Founding Executive Director position, part of the salary will be based upon the individuals ability to raise the capital required to sustain the chapter.
Reports to: Chairman Play Rugby USA – California & CEO Play Rugby, Inc.

Play Rugby USA finishes the Fall Season with the Fall Culminating Tournament!
This past Saturday, November 5th, 20 Elementary and Middle school teams gathered on Randall's Island to participate in Play Rugby USA's Fall Culminating Tournament. Thank you to all who participated and helped with the event, and congratulations to our winners!
